A normal Beginners guide to the Indian market would usually start with a basic explanation of what Equity investing is and cover the basic terminologies used across in the Investment process. There is plenty of such material available online or offline in the form of Blogs, articles, books, videos or even courses (sometimes paid). While each of those have their own merits, these resources only scratch the superficial surface of a deep world that Equity investment is. The best that one can hope to get from them is a know-how of what is what in Equity investment and a generic view of how things work. But for one to truly succeed in Investment, they need to know the insights of the investment process and how the investment world actually works in the real world.
The most obvious way for one to learn is by getting into the ring, getting their hands dirty and learning the art of investment slowly by practising over a period of time. This is how most of the current super investors made it big and perfected their craft. This is a slow, time consuming, ever going and at times painful process. However, in modern times of less patience and even lesser attention span, this may not be the best, and fairly the smartest, way to learn and succeed in the market. The wheel has been invented millions and millions of times by previous investors. A new investor must now try to benefit from it and start to build his or her own dream vehicle upon it rather than still trying to invent the wheel.
This series of blogs intends to do the same for all the new investors out there. In this series, we will try to fasten your investment process as much as possible by giving you crisp, to-the-point and actionable information that would help you directly with your investment journey. We would refrain from hashing out the same generic, good-to-hear but non-actionable information to save the immensely valuable time of yours.
